April, 2008 - S.H.O.T.S. Computers Awarded Cisco Premier Status

Cisco Premier Certification recognizes and rewards partners that have achieved the Express Foundation Specialization. This foundational specialization expands technical competency in the integration of basic routing and switching, wireless LANs, and security technologies. In addition, Premier Certified Partners have integrated a basic level of Cisco Lifecycle Services into their offerings and have demonstrated a measurably high level of customer satisfaction.

January, 2008 - Individuals Accomplish Advance Certification

Chris Hysaw earned his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer status and with it gained access to exclusive technical information that is not available to the general public, including public security articles, partner security articles with detailed product support information, and articles about pre-release (beta) products.

Jerry Smith completed his CCNA certification which validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. He also attained CCDA, CCNP, and CCDP certifications.  With a CCDA certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN, WAN, and broadband access for businesses and organizations.  A CCNP certification attests that a network professional demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network. January, 2006 - S.H.O.T.S. Computers Adds RCDD to Staff

 Jerry Smith has received recognition as an Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).  Those awarded with the RCDD designation have demonstrated their knowledge in the design, implementation and integration of information transport systems and related infrastructure.
